West Indies partied hard after defeating England at the Eden Gardens last night to become the first team to lift the ICC World Twenty20 twice.

But Sammy was in the thick of action after Marlon Samuels' unbeaten 85 and Carlos Brathwaite's blaze of sixes ensured that West Indies became the first team to win the coveted T20 title twice. The captain first slammed the West Indies Cricket Board for disrespecting his team, then took a dig at Mark Nicholas for his "short of brains" comment and promised the world that he would celebrate the historic triumph with his players and the coaching staff. And when it comes to celebrations, few can match the West Indians. Sammy, expectedly led from the front again, setting the dressing-room alight with his dance moves. He was soon joined by Dwayne Bravo, whose hit single 'Champions' has been a rage throughout the World T20.
The Caribbean party continued in the team bus as Sammy went from player to player, with his mobile phone on selfie mode. After getting coach and former fast bowler Cutrly Ambrose to sing along with him, Sammy took the stage (the aisle) solo. Bravo duly joined his captain and the two chanted 'Champions' as the bus left the Eden's hallowed turf. (Also Read: Brathwaite blasted four straight sixes to seal the deal for West Indies)
This morning Sammy was at the Victoria Memorial with the trophy. Wearing the West Indies jacket, the captain looked dapper but tired from a night of wild celebrations. He revealed he did not shut his eyes once since West Indies won in dramatic circumstances last evening. The party, for all facts and purposes, has just started for the Kings of Cool!
